Which dates are current?

Our original announcement covered 13 to 16 April 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The image above belongs to that historical coverage, not a newly announced show.

ADNEC also lists a separately named Gulf Bride Show for 27 to 31 January 2026. Those dates are already past as of this review on 12 September 2026. A similar name is not evidence that the events have the same organiser or programme.

Use ADNEC’s official event calendar and the Gulf Bride Show event listing as starting points. We have not confirmed a future edition, ticket price or exhibitor list for this guide. Confirm these directly with the organiser before making plans.

Is a bridal show useful for your wedding?

A show can help you compare suppliers in person if its actual exhibitor list matches what you still need. Before deciding to attend, make a short list: perhaps bridal wear, photography or decor. If you mainly need a venue, first check whether venues you would consider are exhibiting.

For family-led celebrations or several wedding events, agree which decisions you can make at the show and who needs to review a quote later. Tell suppliers about the ceremonies and arrangements you want; do not assume a package fits your requirements because of its label.

Take one brief to every supplier

Copy this checklist into your phone so that you compare like for like:

• Wedding date or date range, and each event you need covered.
• Emirate, venue if chosen, guest count and indoor or outdoor setting.
• The service, style and approximate budget you want to discuss.
• Family, language, privacy or accessibility requirements that matter to your booking.
• What the quote includes, what costs extra and who will deliver the service.
• The next step: a fitting, tasting, sample, consultation or venue visit.

Photograph a display only with permission and save the supplier’s name beside it. A photograph without the right contact details is hard to follow up later.

Check the offer after the conversation

Ask for the full written quote, not just a show discount. Confirm the exact product or service, quantities, setup and collection, payment dates, cancellation terms and the length of any offer. For dresses, check fitting and alteration arrangements. For decor, compare what is included in the display with what your venue can accommodate.

You do not have to pay on the spot. If a decision depends on a tasting, site visit or another person’s approval, ask whether the supplier can document the offer while you complete those checks.
