Established in 1984, Lanka Vacations is a privately owned, limited liability company that rapidly gained a reputation as a dynamic inbound tour operator handling charter groups, series, individual traffic and special interest tours, in Sri-Lanka.It is represented in the countries foremost Travel and Tourism organization, the Sri Lankan Association of Inbound Tour Operators. It has been an overseas allied member of JATA, PATA, ASTA, and TAAI. The company is proud to acknowledge, it is the only Sri-Lankan tour operator to gain recognition as highly recommended, in the widely circulated Travel Journal in Europe “Reise Know How” printed in Germany by Rainer Krack
