Meliá Desert Palm is a wedding resort on a polo estate in Dubai. Its outdoor gardens and indoor event spaces offer different settings for your celebration. Choose the space and seated layout before comparing a wedding package: a venue maximum is not the number of guests it can necessarily seat with your stage and dance floor.

Compare the garden and ballroom options

The Olive Garden: the official event listing gives 2,700 square metres and a maximum of 800 people. Confirm a seated wedding layout, including your ceremony area, dining and entertainment.
The Museum Lawn: listed at 528 square metres with a maximum of 180 people. Ask how dining tables, service space and your chosen decorations would fit.
The Green Veranda: listed at 175 square metres with a maximum of 70 people. Ask about privacy and the arrangement for a smaller celebration.
The Polo ballroom: listed at 558 square metres with a maximum of 500 people. These are published event maxima, not confirmed banquet capacities or availability. Request the current floor plan.

Build a quotation around your celebration

For a garden ceremony and indoor reception, request both spaces by name, the changeover time and the weather backup arrangement. Check whether both are reserved exclusively for you.
Ask for an itemised price covering venue hire, catering, drinks, furniture, lighting, decoration, taxes and any minimum spend. Confirm access times and charges for external suppliers.
Share your menu preferences and dietary needs. Ask about tastings, the menu deadline, guest-count changes, deposits and cancellation terms before committing.
